COURSE DESCRIPTION
Our esthetics program combines skincare theory and hands-on training to prepare students for licensure and success in the beauty industry. We offer both a full-time and part-time on-campus program to fit your lifestyle. The curriculum meets the 600-hour requirement set by the Hawaii Board of Barbering and Cosmetology.
Internship opportunities
Also, Internship opportunities are available at professional salons and spas — including our sister businesses Pure Nails & Beauty and La Pure Waikiki Spa & Cafe.
ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS
Admission into our school is open to all applicants that meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 16 years old AND have an education equivalent to completion of high school OR grade twelve. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must enroll the applicant.
- Copy of high school diploma or educational equivalent. (GED certificate)
- Copy of picture ID (Passport, State ID, Driver’s license)
- Deposit $ 500.00 to save your seat which will be applied in full towards your tuition. Non-refundable.
- Completed HNA Application Form
- If you select a tuition payment plan option, there is a registration fee of $100.00 (non-refundable).
- (For VA students) A copy of the Certificate of Eligibility and transcripts of all education.

- Payment plan application fee is $100 (non-refundable — Pay now).
- Total tuition: $7,685.86 − $500.00 (non-refundable deposit) = $7,185.86 with payment plan.
- For credit card payments, a 2% convenience fee will be added.
- The first payment is due on or before orientation day.
- Payments are due every other Monday until the balance is paid in full.
- Changing classes after registration will incur a fee of $250.
- If a class change is made within 10 days of the start date, the $500 deposit will be void.
