  • Description of Possible Contraindications
  • Dermatology – Study of the Human Dermis and Epidermis
  • Hygiene and Disinfection/Infection
  • Color Theory
    – Mixing/Blending Colors
  • Counseling
  • Customer Relations/Customer Service
    – How to communicate professionally with your clients
    – How to build rapport and enhance trust from your clients
  • Professional Tattoo Artist’s License
    – Procedures to obtain a tattoo artist’s license from the Hawaii Department of Health.
    – For fees (plus the cost of the course), you will be guided through the following procedures for a professional tattoo artist’s license: 

      1. Complete the Blood Borne Pathogen (BPP) Certification online course given by any of the 8-course providers approved by the Department of Health (Fee:$20~50)
      2. Take and pass the Certification Examination
      3. Obtain a Tuberculosis/Syphilis Clearance Report from a licensed medical professional
      4. Obtain the Hepatitis B vaccine (optional, but recommended by the Department of Health)
      5. Complete the Application for a New Tattoo Artist License and submit it to the Department of Health (Fee:$75).

  • Eyebrow Design
    -How to accurately measure and draw eyebrow shapes with a mannequin.
    -How to use the blade with a mannequin.
    -While waiting for your Tattoo license, we will give you assignments to make sure you get skills.
  • Questions & Answer

You must wait to obtain your Tattoo license in order to practice the live model by the law of the State of Hawaii Department of Health. (it takes about 3~4 weeks)

We will learn: Part 2

  • You must complete your BPP Certificate online course and have a Tattoo license before joining Part 2. (by State of Hawaii law)
  • Training with a live model (to make you confident and ready to work)

You can take your theory/written courses at your own pace, in the comfort of your home. And come on campus for hands-on practical work and client interactions to prep you for the field. Feel confident with our online program approved by DCCA. With our relevant, up-to-date curriculum, you’ll walk away with skills you can apply directly to your career.

Our on-campus and online esthetics courses enable you to pursue your education without sacrificing your personal and work commitments. Your online studies will consist of 150 hours, featuring Milady’s Standard Esthetics Fundamentals, Eleventh Edition text. You’ll be able to tackle this content electronically at your own pace, which includes an
array of activities, exams, discussion boards, and workbooks. You’ll also learn practical on-campus receiving hands on instruction with different techniques and modalities.
During the 450 hours of practice you’ll work on classmates, real clients, and take part in multiple demonstrations/demos. Each day before we begin to practice, we will ensure the penetration of knowledge learned in theory with a daily review and class discussion. Our goal is to bridge these courses to provide you with the skills you’ll need to pursue your goals, with time on your side.

Online Eyelash Extension Certification course

$1200 + tax

KIT INCLUDED

If you prefer hands-on intimate learning, this classic eyelash extension online class is for you. Our eyelash training is a great way for estheticians or cosmetologists to start in the lash industry. In this course, you’ll learn product knowledge, completing a full lash set, refill set, lash removal (manual and chemically), patch testing, client safety, client aftercare, and eye design/mapping. We pride ourselves on making sure you leave with the knowledge and confidence you need to excel in your lash career.

Cost per treatment: $80-$150 per new set

You’ll receive:

  • 24 hours of access to our original eyelash training video.
  • Upload your work (assignment) to your account and receive feedback from our instructor.
  • A take-home theory binder, including tips and tricks.
  • Starter kit (4 trays of 0.15 lashes, mannequin, 2 tweezers, lash adhesive, micro-foam tape, glue rings, micro-swabs, primer, lash sealant, and mascara wands)
  • Attendees may be required to bring at least two (2) models and may be expected to receive and perform this technique.
